The Situation
Plenty of US fashion brands are doing real revenue online. This client was one of them — but they'd hit a wall, and the wall was their own marketing setup.
Daily sales had been stuck at around ~$180 for months. Underneath that ceiling sat four problems compounding each other. The brand was relying on Boost Post for almost everything, instead of running proper ad campaigns. The marketing was effectively WhatsApp-only, with no funnel between an ad click and a confirmed order. And the campaign objectives that had been chosen weren't telling Meta to optimise for purchases — they were optimising for engagement and views, which look good in a dashboard but don't move revenue.
The brand wanted to compete with the bigger names in the category. To do that, the marketing engine had to actually work like one.
What We Did
We rebuilt the account from boost-post chaos into a real performance marketing system.
- Complete account audit. We mapped every campaign and identified exactly where budget was leaking — chasing engagement, optimising for the wrong objective, running on audiences too broad to convert.
- Real ad structure. Out went the boost posts. In came a proper campaign structure with separate prospecting, retargeting and conversion campaigns, each with the right objective and the right audience.
- Multi-step funnel. We designed an actual funnel — cold traffic to landing page to checkout — instead of the WhatsApp-only flow that was bottlenecking every conversion. WhatsApp still played a role, but as a follow-up channel, not as the whole funnel.
- Correct campaign objectives. Every campaign was switched to purchase or conversion objectives, so Meta could find people who were actually likely to buy — not just people who'd react to a post.
The Results
In three months, monthly revenue grew from ~$5.4K to ~$43K — an 8x lift — on roughly ~$2,500 of ad spend. That's a ROAS above 17x, sustained over the full 90 days.
The daily sales ceiling didn't just lift — it disappeared. The brand now runs proper ad campaigns with proper objectives on a proper funnel, and revenue scales with spend instead of stalling against an invisible cap.
